When I last visited Bangkok in may this year, I saw something strange not seen on any roads of AP - Lane Discipline.
Not that this is innovative idea of people of Bangkok; I later realised this is actually practiced in many countries across the world.
Here in Bangkok, you have, kind of, 3 lanes. The first and the third are for 4-wheelers but the smaller lane-look-alike is for motorists!
They do not overtake from left, that is worrisomely prevelant in India.
Now we do have wide roads here in Hyderabad and this kind of lane discipline would work wonders from road accidents (To lower the count, I mean ;-) )
Any comments on this....? Post them in commnets section below.

Public Transport - Restructuring Steps
1. I see that most of the Hyderabad City buses do not have doors. Is this to allow 'FULL'(EST possible) occupancy and exceed the targets...?
Solution:
Install the doors to all buses and prevent people from falling off from the buses (The infamously called Hanging Humans like in the Actient Seven wonders of the world, Hanging Gardens). AND, the bus should move ONLY WHEN THE DOORS ARE CLOSED.
I have seen this in Bangalore and this has been the recent trend in other metros and all of them are catching up (slowly but surely).
Benefits:
a) The buses can now run normally instead of slantly... which was due to over load of passengers hanging from the doors on the left side of the bus.
b) More the control on the bus and the passengers, lesser are the possibilities of accidents.
c) People on the roads/footpaths would not be hurt our Hanging Humans.
d) Efficient use of fuel
